Jochen Kopelke

Jochen Kopelke (* 1984 ) is a German police officer and former state chairman of the police union in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen .

Jochen Kopelke studied from 2005 at the University of Public Administration (HfÖV Bremen) in the course of the police enforcement service of the Bremen police for the senior service. Then he was deployed nationwide for three years in a mission team and later in the service of the police in Bremen.

Jochen Kopelke joined the GdP at the beginning of his training and headed the union's youth organization for several years. He is a member of the SPD and active in the Findorf OV . With 99.1 percent, the then 29-year-old Kopelke was elected chairman at the GdP Bremen State Delegate Day in 2014. He was the youngest national chairman in the history of the GdP.

Kopelke's goal in the four years of his tenure was to stand up for a modern, community-based police force in Bremen and Bremerhaven. In addition to reasonable working conditions, he also sees a noticeable improvement in job satisfaction among the police as a prerequisite.

After a successful master's degree , he works since autumn 2019 the police in Bremen higher service .
