Jochen Lempert

Jochen Lempert (* 1958 in Moers ) is a German wildlife and nature photographer.

Life

He studied biology and later dealt with photography. Lempert lives in Hamburg and has published not only his photographic work but also scientific work. In 2005 he was the recipient of the Edwin Scharff Prize . In 2009 he received a scholarship at the Villa Massimo in Rome. In 2010 there were exhibitions about his life's work. In 2017 he received the Camera Austria Prize for Contemporary Photography.
