Jochen Stoss

Jochen Stoss (* 1942 ) is a German press photographer .

Life

Stoss received his training as a reproduction and industrial photographer in the printing house of the Schünemann publishing house in Bremen . He sold his first photo to the Weserkurier when he was 16 .

From 1967 to 2011 he worked as a press photographer for the Weserkurier. Over the past four decades, he has documented current affairs for the Bremen local editorial team , but also for the editorial offices in the surrounding area.

Two years ago, Stoss handed over his private archive - around 750,000 photos - to the Bremen State Archives .
