Joe Shields
Joe Shields (born March 20, 1961 ) is an American graphic artist, Flash animator and musician from Michigan . He is known on the internet for his Flash animations. He is the founder of the Joe Cartoon website .

In 1998, t-shirt designer Joe Shields began working with Adobe Flash 2 . Flash 2 was intended for creating interactive websites and advertising banners. In his early animations, the mostly macabre background that he brought into his animations until 2013 was already there. Many Internet users were enthusiastic about the frog in the mixer and the gerbil in the microwave . He released his animations for download and quickly gained notoriety.
In 2006, Shields opened the Joe Cartoon website .
Personal
Shields lives in Michigan. He has a wife and two children, Joe-Joe and Erin.
Shields began writing songs in 2013. In 2014 the debut album Cousin Joe Twoshacks: Rocks & Toads was released .
