He was also used in the Colonia department selection . At the beginning of his career he played for Miramar Misiones from 2006 to January 2008 and was used there in a total of 29 first division matches in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons. That month he moved to Club Atlético Peñarol . There he was only involved in a preparatory game against Nacional Montevideo, then tore his cruciate ligament as part of a Hong Kong trip of his club in February 2008 and was therefore never used in an official game of the "Aurinegros". In the Apertura 2008 he was part of the squad of the then first division club Central Español . There are six first division appearances for him in the 2008/09 season. In the Clausura 2009 he played again for the second division Miramar Misiones. For Central Español he then played 15 games in the Primera División in the 2009/10 season . In the same season, he also made 13 first division appearances and four in the Copa Libertadores at Club Atlético Cerro . He then moved to APOP Kinyras Peyias in Cyprus . After 16 appearances in the top division, he left the club in June 2011 and joined Omonia Nicosia . Without having been placed in the league, he will return to Uruguay at the end of January 2012 and was henceforth in the ranks of the first division club Bella Vista from Montevideo. For the Montevideans he ran ten times in the Primera División in the 2012 Clausura. At Apertura 2012 he moved to city rival River Plate Montevideo . There he completed 30 and 29 top division games respectively in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons and also played four times in the 2013 Copa Sudamericana . After the last season he signed a contract with the Chilean first division club Deportivo Ñublense . In the 2014/15 season, in which he was hailed by the Chilean press as the club's best new signing of that season, he was used 34 times (no goal) in the Chilean Primera División and twice in the Copa Chile . At the beginning of July 2015, Club Atlético Peñarol announced their commitment for the upcoming season. In the 2015/16 season, in which the "Aurinegros" were Uruguayan champions, he was not used in a league game, but played a game in the Copa Libertadores 2016 . In the 2016 season he came to his only league appearance for the Montevideans. At the beginning of January 2017, the Club Deportivo River Ecuador signed him .
