Joel García

Joel García (born January 15, 1958 in Monterrey , Nuevo León ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .

career

García was under contract with his hometown club CF Monterrey throughout the 1980s and had been part of the "regular eleven" since 1981. His most successful season was the Torneo México 86 held immediately before the 1986 World Cup , in which the Rayados won the first championship title in their club's history.

García spent his last season in 1990/91 with the UAT Correcaminos .
