Joel Lindpere (born October 5, 1981 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian football player .

Career

Lindpere began his career with the then second division club JK Nõmme Kalju , for whom he scored many goals. As a result, Lelle SK signed him for two seasons. From there he moved to FC Flora Tallinn , then to FC Valga for two seasons, before going back to FC Flora Tallinn. For the 2004/05 season, Lindpere moved to the Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia , but could not prevail there and returned to Tallinn . For the 2007 season he then moved to the Norwegian club Tromsø IL . After his contract was not renewed there, he moved to the American Major League Soccer for the New York Red Bulls in January 2010 , where he was elected to the All Star Team in the first season. The Estonian has been playing for Chicago Fire since 2013 .

He has been a regular in the Estonian national team since 1999.
