Joel Sotolongo
Joel Sotolongo (born December 12, 1982 ) is a retired Cuban weightlifter .
Career
Sotolongo won the silver medal in the class up to 85 kg at the Pan American Championships in Cali in 2004 . At the 2006 World Championships in Santo Domingo , he started in the class up to 94 kg and finished 13th. In 2007, he reached seventh place at the World Championships in Chiang Mai . At the Pan American Championships in Callao in 2008 , Sotolongo won gold in the class up to 105 kg. During the doping control , however, he tested positive for metandienone . He was disqualified and banned for four years.
