history
On November 29, 1851, the right to inheritance was granted . In 1855 were eleven miners 1828⅜ Prussian tons of coal mined . In 1857 the Argus colliery was dissolved . The Argus colliery was a working colliery used to mine coal iron stone. In 1859 coal seams and ironstone seams were loosened. At that time the length of the tunnel was 1305 Lachter . The tunnel also had several wing locations to the west and east. In the years 1863 and 1865 the Erbstollen was demonstrably in operation. From the year 1866, the Erbstollen was no longer in the documents of the mining office called. The authorized person was later passed on to the Gottessegen mine . Presumably the tunnel was no longer used, because in 1901 the tunnel was full of water. Thereafter, further information about Joest's Erbstollen is missing.
