Jofay (also: Chowaye , Chovaye , Ciovai , Ciuai , Isola Giovai , Jasiira Jowai , Jevai Island , Tovai ) is an island of Somalia with an area of ​​5.46 km². It belongs politically to Jubaland and geographically to the Bajuni Islands , a chain of coral islands ( barrier islands ), which extends from Kismaayo in the north over 100 kilometers to the Raas Kaambooni near the Kenyan border.

The island is located opposite the mouth of the Lag Salaam river and between the islets of Bengadiine and Bawaadi in the south and the elongated Ambuu in the north. The island forms an anchorage in the south. It is about 1.5 km from the coast. It is several kilometers long and almost 1 km wide. In terms of area, it is the third largest island in the Bajuni Islands.
