Jogo do Ano
The Jogo do Ano ( Portuguese for Game of the Year ) is a game award that has been awarded in Portugal by the SpielPortugal player group since 2006 .
Each participant names ten of their own games as suggestions; this results in the five nominated games. These are then rated by a jury based on several parameters such as the fun factor, product quality, theme, game mechanics and interaction.
