Johan Jolin
Johan Christopher Jolin (born December 28, 1818 in Stockholm , † November 13, 1884 in Lidingö ) was a Swedish actor and poet .
Jolin studied at Uppsala University but dropped out in favor of theater. At the age of 27 he made a successful debut at the Royal Court Theater in Stockholm . He appeared in "En komedi", one of his own pieces. In the same year, the Swedish Royal Academy awarded his poem "Fjellbruden" with a prize.
In 1846 he took a firm commitment at the Royal Theater Stockholm, where he as 1849-56, both as a comedian as Literatör worked the theater and since 1857 as CEO of theater school, until he stepped down in 1868 from the stage.
Six weeks before his 66th birthday, Jolin died on November 13, 1884 in Lidingö, where he found his final resting place.
