Johan Larsson (born March 24, 1986 in Lindesberg ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with AIK from Svenska Hockeyligan since July 2018 .

Career

Johan Larsson started playing ice hockey in his hometown Lindesberg at Lindlövens IF . He later moved to the youth department at Bofors IK . In the 2004/05 season he made his professional debut in the Swedish Allsvenskan second division . Larsson played for Bofors IK until 2008 and also played in Division 1 and Division 2 . For the 2008/09 season he moved to Diables Rouges de Briançon in the French Ligue Magnus . After a year, Larsson returned to Bofors IK in the Allsvenskan. In 2011 he signed a contract with Färjestad BK and played for the first time in the Svenska Hockeyligan . For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Finnish Liiga to HPK Hämeenlinna . He started the next year in Sweden at HV71 and moved to Tappara Tampere in Finland in December 2013 . From 2014 to 2016 Larsson played for SaiPa Lappeenranta in the Liiga.

In October 2016 he signed a contract with the Iserlohn Roosters from the German Ice Hockey League and stayed there until 2018. He then returned to Sweden and was signed by AIK Stockholm .
