Johann Gottfried Herder Association for Democracy

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Johann Gottfried Herder Association for Democracy is a party-affiliated nationwide AfD foundation .

The association was added to the register of associations in November 2017 and is based in Bonn .

The main goal is the promotion of studies and culture, education and promotion of young people and mixed-political personal preferences. In terms of content and structure, however, the association is in competition with other AfD-affiliated nationally active foundations, such as the Immanuel Kant Association and the Desiderius Erasmus Foundation as well as the Academic Erasmus Foundation .

The use of the dedication name by Johann Gottfried Herder is viewed critically.

Board members are Rainer Gross , Götz Frömming and Marc Jongen .
