Academic Erasmus Foundation

The Academic Erasmus Foundation is a political foundation in Germany. The foundation was founded in summer 2017 by members of the Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia AfD .

The chair is Victoria Bronson (nee Tuschik), former legal advisor to André Poggenburg ; Deputy Chairman is Frank Scholtysek . The treasurer is Rainer von Raemdonck , Chairman of the Board of the Erasmus Foundation Brandenburg , which is active exclusively in Brandenburg .

The board members are Jürgen Pohl , Carsten Ubbelohde , Thomas Jung (Deputy Chairman of the Erasmus Foundation Brandenburg), Franz Wiese and Lena Duggen , General Secretary of the Erasmus Foundation Brandenburg. The seat of the association is in Potsdam.

In September 2017, the foundation competed with the Desiderius-Erasmus-Foundation and the Immanuel-Kant-Verein, both also AfD-affiliated associations and foundations, for the role of the nationwide leading AfD-affiliated political foundation.
