Johann Arnold Isselhorst

Johann Arnold Isselhorst (* 1720 in Lübeck ; † December 30, 1785 ibid, ▭ January 9, 1786) was a lawyer and mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

Johann Arnold Isselhorst was the son of the mayor of Lübeck Gotthard Arnold Isselhorst . From 1741 he studied law at the University of Rostock . In 1745 he was elected council secretary and registrar in Lübeck, in 1750 protonotary and in 1765 in the council of the city. In 1781 he was appointed to the council as one of the mayors of the Hanseatic city. Isselhorst was the owner of the Krempelsdorf estate west of the city.
