Johann Beckmann (politician)
Johann Beckmann (* around 1575 , † after 1634 ) was mayor in Kassel .
Beckmann was married to the daughter of the mayor of Kassel Friedrich Didamer . He enrolled at the University of Marburg on April 7, 1593 , where he obtained a master's degree. In 1599 he became procurator at the Kassel law firm and lawyer in Kassel. In 1612 he was granted citizenship in Kassel. In 1612, 1614–1616, 1621, 1623, 1625–1626 and 1634 he was councilor in Kassel. In 1613 and 1618 he was mayor there.
