Johann Carl August Richter (born March 29, 1785 in Dresden ; † January 11, 1853 there ) was a German draftsman and graphic artist.
Life
Richter was a student of Adrian Zingg . He worked as a landscape and architectural draftsman in Dresden. He made views of Dresden and other Saxon cities and landscapes, mostly preserved as colored copper engravings .
Richter is often confused with Carl August Richter (1770–1848).
