Johann Christoph Funck

Johann Christoph Funck (* 1759 ; † September 9, 1839 in St. Johannis near Bayreuth ) was a German brewery owner and politician .

Life

Johann Christoph Funck was a brewery owner in St. Johannis, which is now a district of Bayreuth.

No further information is available on his origin and professional training; he had a son of the same name and was a landscape commissioner.

He belonged to the 1st and 2nd Landtag in the 1st electoral period from 1819 to 1825 and represented the Obermainkreis constituency in the Chamber of Deputies in the Bavarian Parliament . For health reasons he was released from the Chamber on February 22, 1822; His successor was Johann Wilhelm Haas, who, however, was dismissed from the Chamber on March 30, 1822, because he owned less land than what was part of the passive eligibility.
