Johann Christoph Ungefug (politician)

Johann Christoph Ungefug (baptized December 4, 1636 in Kassel ; † 17th or 18th century) was mayor of Kassel.

Life

The son of the mayor of Kassel Christoph Ungefug (1597–1647) and his wife Katharina Senger (* around 1611; † 1628), the daughter of the Salzgreben Eckhardt Senger in Allendorf / W. His first marriage around 1665 was Anna Katharina Steinfeld (1641–1676), the daughter of Captain Eckebrecht Steinfeld in Kassel. Around 1677 he married Elisabeth Viktoria Dehn-Rothfelser, daughter of Caspar Dehn-Rothfelser. From 1654 he studied law in Marburg, from 1656 in Jena and from 1660 in Rinteln. There he was on 24 November 1660 Dr. jur. PhD. He was a lawyer in Kassel. There he was mayor from 1674 to 1675. After that he was obersalzgrebe in Sooden / Werra.
