Johann Conrad von Bentheim
Johann Conrad von Bentheim (* 1685 , baptized on July 24, 1685 in Nassau (Lahn) ; † 1738 ) was a German court official.
Life
Bentheim was baptized on July 24, 1685 in Nassau. He was court and government councilor of Margrave Karl zu Brandenburg-Schwedt and councilor of the Order of St. John .
Bentheim wrote his autobiography , which was still unusual in its time and therefore still attracts attention today.
The funeral sermon was held in 1738 by Johann Hermann Gronau , then an Evangelical Reformed preacher in the Jerusalem Church in Berlin , previously court preacher to Margravine Philipp until 1732 .
