Johann David Blindow

Johann David Blindow (* around 1720 in Stettin ; † 1772 ) was a German local lawyer. He was Lord Mayor of Stettin from 1769 until his death .

His father David Blindow (* around 1690, † around 1740) was a lawyer in Stettin.

Johann David Blindow studied from 1737 jurisprudence at the University of Halle . In 1739/1740 he wanted to be secretary to General Kurt Christoph von Schwerin , but nothing came of it. He then became a lawyer in Stettin, from 1743 as a government lawyer in the Pomeranian government.

In 1768 he became a syndic of the city of Szczecin. In 1769 he became, as the successor to the late Adam Joachim Sander , city ​​district administrator and mayor of Stettin. He remained in office until his death in 1772. His successor was Joachim Friedrich Pauli .
