Johann Deing

Johann Deing (born June 18, 1901 in Bocholt ; † July 7, 1975 ) was a German politician and executive director of the German Center Party .

Life

After attending primary school, Deing initially trained in agriculture. Since 1921 he was a member of the Center Party. Between 1926 and 1928 he attended the State College for Business and Administration in Düsseldorf. Then he was full-time secretary of the Catholic workers' associations in Bocholt and Rheine until 1934 .

After the beginning of the National Socialist rule Deing switched to the private sector and was managing director of a company in the sand and gravel industry in Ibberburg.

After the Second World War , Deing rejoined the Center Party. In 1946 he was a member of the appointed Provincial Council for Westphalia . He was also a member of the appointed state parliament in 1946 and, between 1949 and 1950, a successor in the elected state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .
