Johann Ernst Morgenstern

Johann Ernst Morgenstern (* before 1662 in Bautzen , † after 1696 probably in Bautzen) was a Saxon personal physician and a member of the academy of scholars “ Leopoldina ”.

Johann Ernst Morgenstern received his doctorate in medicine in Leiden in 1670 . The year 1662 and the years between 1670 and 1690 are documented as Morgenstern's impact data. It was last proven in 1696. Morgenstern held a grammar school professorship at the grammar school in Bautzen and was personal physician to the Elector of Saxony.

On March 10, 1690, Johann Ernst Morgenstern with the surname ARISTOGENES I was accepted as a member ( matriculation number 167 ) in the Leopoldina .
