Johann Eusebius Fugger

Johann Eusebius Fugger (born July 3, 1617 in Kirchheim in Swabia ; † March 11, 1672 ibid) was Lord of Kirchheim in Swabia from the line of Fugger von Kirchheim, Count of Kirchberg and Weissenhorn. He was imperial chamberlain and president of the Reich Chamber Court in Speyer.

Life

Johann Eusebius Fugger was the son of Count Johannes Fugger (1591-1638) and Countess Elisabeth Truchseß von Waldburg-Friedberg-Scheer (1589-1630). He married Eleonora Marie zu Fürstenberg on May 8, 1644 in Augsburg (September 29, 1623 - June 13, 1672). The children Maria Franziska Eusebia Fugger (1649–1679), Franz Leopold Fugger (1650–1657) and Maria Eleonora Fugger (1653–1653) emerged from the marriage. He held the office of President of the Reich Chamber of Commerce in Speyer from 1649 to 1670. Johann Eusebius Fugger died without male descendants and is buried with his wife in the family crypt under the church choir in Kirchheim in Swabia . With him the older Kirchheimer line of the Fugger ended.
