Johann Franz Ludwig Koch

Johann Franz Ludwig Koch (born August 11, 1791 in Minden ; † January 26, 1850 there ) was a German lawyer, author and member of parliament.

He attended high school in Minden and then studied philology in Göttingen from 1808. He had to leave Westphalia because he belonged to a country team and moved to a relative in Altona. From 1810 to 1811 he studied law in Halle and in 1812 in Dijon. After graduating, he worked in the judicial service. He became a judicial commissioner and notary in Minden in 1817. He was later honored with the title of Justice Council.

From 1841 to 1845 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia . From 1842 to 1848 he was a member of the United Estates Committees in Berlin.
