Johann Friedrich Fritsch

Johann Fritsch (* 1635 ; † 1680 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German bookseller .

Johann Fritsch took over the former Schürersche bookstore in 1675. After Fritsch died at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 1680 , his employee Johann Friedrich Gleditsch married the widow and continued the business. Gleditsch managed the company until he was able to pass it on to his stepson Thomas Fritsch (1666–1726) in 1693 .
