Johann Friedrich Glaser was a 17th century book printer in Hanover .
Life
According to Josef Benzing, the fact that he came from Kassel with his print shop has not been confirmed.
In 1643 he began his work in Hanover a. a. with a funeral sermon for the law student Heinrich Wilhelm Krause . In 1645 he became a princely book printer, in 1649 he published the Oratio de laude urbis Hannoverae . As the godfather of Johann Hemeling , he printed his work Selbstlehrende Rechenschuhl at his own expense .
In 1650 his printing house became the property of Georg Friedrich Grimm († 1690).
