Johann Georg Beza
Johann Georg Beza (* around 1628 in Hersfeld ; † April 5, 1689 in Kassel ) was mayor of Kassel.
Beza was the son of Georg Beza, a citizen of Hersfeld. He married on November 25, 1658 in Kassel Katharina Elisabeth Hartmann (1637–1713), the daughter of the Kassel government councilor David Hartmann. He attended high school in Hersfeld from 1637 to 1645 and studied in Kassel in 1646 and in Bremen in 1647. In 1576 he became a lay judge in Kassel. From 1680 to 1682 he was mayor there and then councilor and advocatus fisci.
