Johann Georg Rachals

Johann Georg Rachals , also Rachhalß , († September 16, 1678 ) was an Electoral Saxon civil servant. He was councilor of the Erzgebirge district, head as well as bailiff of the electoral Saxon offices of Schwarzenberg and Crottendorf .

Life

Johann Georg Rachals initially entered the service of the Saxon elector as the electoral Saxon clerk for the offices of Schwarzenberg and Crottendorf and was supreme and bailiff of these two combined offices from 1664 until his death. At the same time he was at the court of Dresden electoral council of the Erzgebirge district. Shortly before his death in 1677 he inherited the office building in Schwarzenberg. Due to the death of his wife in the same year and his own death the following year, he could no longer enjoy it.

He married the youngest daughter of one of his predecessors Christian Person , Anna Magdalena Person (born June 20, 1632 in Lauterstein Palace; † September 25, 1677 in Schwarzenberg). From this marriage arose among others the Saxon rent chamber secretary Johann Georg Rachals.
