Johann Gottlieb Cordes

Johann Gottlieb Cordes (born February 21, 1870 in Einbeck ; † May 31, 1955 in Wehrstedt ) was a German Lutheran clergyman and author.

Life

Cordes studied Protestant theology and was ordained on November 19, 1900. He was initially an assistant chaplain in Ilten, Kirchweyhe and Nienburg, from 1901 in Wilhelmsburg- Reiherstieg, before he received the second pastor in Wilhelmsburg-Reiherstieg in 1904. In 1927 he became social pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran regional church of Hanover and pastor in Wehrstedt . He was retired on October 1, 1946.
