Johann Hertze († August 18, 1510 in Lübeck ) was mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Hertze was the son of Lübeck protonotary and later councilor Johann Hertze († 1476) . He was elected to the city council in 1484 and appointed one of the mayors of Lübeck in 1498 . In 1503 he was chairman of the Wendish City Council. Also in 1503 he negotiated with other Lübeck councilors such as the finance lord Johann Kerkring († 1516) in Segeberg with King Hans of Denmark about the violation of the privileges of the Hanseatic League on the part of Denmark and the associated damage to the interests of investors and merchants from Lübeck in Denmark.

Hertze was the son-in-law of Lübeck councilor Bernhard Darsow and lived in Darsow's house at Schildstrasse 10, which he inherited from his wife . Since 1479 he was a member of the influential circle society .
