Johann Kerkring († 1516)
Johann Kerkring (* 15th century; † 1516 ) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck .
Life
Johann Kerkring was the son of the Lübeck citizen Johann Kerkring . He became a member of the patrician circle society in 1479 and elected councilor in 1484. He was several times treasurer of the council, so 1503, 1505-1510 and 1512-1514. Together with the mayor Johann Hertze , he took part in all the important negotiations of 1503 as a treasurer. He represented Lübeck at the Hanseatic Days in Lübeck in 1507 and 1511.
Kerkring was married to a daughter of the mayor of Lübeck Hinrich Castorp and lived in the house at Mengstrasse 12 in Lübeck's old town . Councilor Hinrich Kerckring was his son. His daughter Agneta married Johann Wigerinck in 1529 .
