Johann Howe

Johann Howe (born April 15, 1880 in Ahrensbök ; † after 1932) was a German politician ( DNVP ).

Life

After attending secondary school, Howe first worked as a postal clerk. He retired as a postal inspector and then turned to the housing industry. From 1914 he was chairman of the house and landowners association for Kiel and the surrounding area. In 1918 he became chairman of the Association of House and Landowners Associations of the Province of Schleswig-Holstein . At the same time he was a board member of the Prussian state association and the central association of German house and landowners' associations.

Within the German National Party (DNVP), Howe was considered a specialist in housing policy matters. From October 1924 he was a city councilor in Kiel. In December 1924 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1932. In parliament he represented constituency 13 (Schleswig-Holstein).
