Johann Isaac Hoffmann

Johann Isaac Hoffmann (born December 22, 1751 in Frankfurt am Main ; † July 19, 1834 there ) was a politician of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Johann Isaac Hoffmann was the son of Syndic Friedrich Reinhard Hoffmann and his wife Magdalene nee Göring. From 1771 he studied law at the University of Göttingen and in 1774 at the University of Gießen, where he disputed pro graduate in the same year . He then became a lawyer in Frankfurt am Main. From 1778 to 1787 he was an accessist at the Frankfurt am Main city archive.

From 1793 to 1816 he was a Senator and from 1816 a Schöff member of the Council of the Imperial City of Frankfurt and the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt . 1803, 1806 to 1810 he was the junior mayor. He was later a judge of appeal. He was a member of the Legislative Body .
