Johann Jacobs (politician)

Johann Jacobs (born January 7, 1903 in Speicher , † May 24, 1988 in Bitburg ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and politics

Jacobs was a textile merchant and fruit grower by profession. He joined the SPD in 1947 and was mayor of his home town of Speicher from 1956 to 1964 . From 1963 to 1971 he was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .
