Johann Jakob Lagemann (or Hans Lageman, born May 6, 1696 in Unterrieden near Witzenhausen, † 1766 in Vollmarshausen , today in Lohfelden ) was a gunsmith . He is considered to be the inventor of the "Müller rifles", those all-metal rifles that were very common in the baroque era.

Johann Jakob Lagemann took over the Obermühle together with his brother from their father Jost, who died in 1666. The Lagemann weapons were forged in the mill and were popular throughout Central Europe, they were soon copied. Since 1720 "Müller rifles" have also been exported to Sweden.
