Johann Jakob Siebel (baptized December 17, 1710 in Elberfeld (today a district of Wuppertal ); † September 27, 1771 there ) was a German politician and mayor of Elberfeld.

Siebel was born the son of the merchant and mayor of 1711, Johann Jakob Siebel , (1679–1743) and was baptized on December 17, 1710. His grandfather Andreas Siebel (1642–1710) and his father Andreas Siebel (1619–1684) had also been mayor of Elberfeld several times. His mother was Eleonora Plücker (1691–1768), a daughter of the mayor from 1688, Johannes Plücker . His father of the same name, Johannes Plücker (1628–1680), was mayor in 1679.

Siebel began as a merchant in Elberfeld. On November 6, 1742, he married Anna Maria Wuppermann (1721–1759), daughter of the mayor from 1730, Johann Rütger Wuppermann (1679–1759). Siebel was a member of the council from 1743 to 1751, and again in 1755. The following year he was proposed for the second time after 1749 as mayor and was elected to this office for the first time. In 1757 he became a city judge, and in the following two years he was again a member of the Elberfeld council. His marriage to his wife had six children, four of whom died early; both surviving children were girls.
