Johann Kurpanek (born July 12, 1909 in Upper Silesia ; † unknown) was a German football goalkeeper .

Born in Upper Silesia, he played for Beuthen 09 between 1929 and 1937 . With the club he lost at the German championship in 1930 in the round of 16 with 2: 3 against Hertha BSC in the Poststadion in Berlin. In the two following years he failed with Beuthen in the round of 16, 1931 at Hamburger SV (0: 2) and 1932 at PSV Chemnitz (1: 5). It was not until 1933 that the round of 16 could finally be survived. In the quarter-finals, the team lost to the favorite "Munich Lions" of TSV 1860 (0: 3). Beuthen was able to qualify for the finals two more times, but failed in the group stage in 1934 and 1937.

The club won the championship of Southeast Germany with Kurpanek in goal in 1930 , 1931 , 1932 and 1933 .
