Johann Lüneburg († 1373)
Johann Lüneburg (* Lübeck ; † April 2, 1373 in Reval ) was a Lübeck councilor of the 14th century.
Life
Johann Lüneburg was the son of a citizen of the same name from Lübeck († 1335). In 1365 he married the daughter of the councilor Johann Schepenstede and lived in the house in Königstrasse , which is now number 39, which he bought in 1364 . He was a member of the city council since 1368.
He died as the city's envoy on a diplomatic trip to the Novgorod Hansekontor Peterhof in Reval that he undertook together with the Lübeck mayor Jakob Pleskow .
His son Johann Lüneburg and his grandson of the same name were also mayors of Lübeck.
