Johann Ludwig Ammon

Johann Ludwig Ammon (born February 15, 1723 in Nuremberg ; † 1772 there ) was a German brewer and maltster as well as a numismatist .

Life

Johann Ludwig Ammon worked as a successful beer brewer in his hometown. He studied Humaniora and acquired profound knowledge through studying numerous books, especially in numismatics.

He married Anna Maria, née Pinzin.
