Johann Maier (politician, October 1952)

Johann Maier (born October 30, 1952 in Kleedorf ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and station director. From 1994 to 1998 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After primary school, Maier attended a secondary school and learned the trade of technical draftsman. He entered the service of the Austrian Federal Railways and was employed as a dispatcher from 1973. From 1980 he became a local councilor in Schrems , and in 1988 he was promoted to city council. As a result, Maier was again a councilor in Schrems between 1994 and 2000 and represented the SPÖ in the state parliament between December 15, 1994 and April 16, 1998. In 1990 Maier became the station director in Schrems.
