Johann Matthias Lameyer

Johann Matthias Lameyer (born February 18, 1752 in Bremen ; † April 13, 1825 in Bremen) was a businessman and Senator / Councilor from Bremen .

biography

Lameyer was the son of Friedrich Lameyer (1723–1757) and his wife Christina Elisabeth (1731–1752).
He was married to the merchant's daughter Johanna Gesine Henriette Mehne (1753-1825), who died early; both had no children. Second marriage to the merchant's daughter Hanna Margaretha Thorspecken (1769–1852); both had five children.

He completed his school days in Bremen, did a commercial apprenticeship and worked as a businessman and as an insurance company.

From 1802 to 1825 (†) he was the successor of Johann Wilckens Bremen Senator. From 1785 to 1795 he was a volunteer deacon of the Bremen Cathedral .
