Johann Michael Barth

Johann Michael Barth (born October 7, 1723 in Schkeuditz ; † in the 18th century ) was a German medic and personal physician to the Chancellor of Lithuania, Prince Czartoryski.

Life

Johann Michael Barth attended the Stiftsgymnasium in Merseburg and then studied medicine at the University of Leipzig from 1742 . After receiving his doctorate in 1748, he was the personal physician of the Chancellor of Lithuania, Prince Czartoryski, in the mid-18th century.

On December 22, 1753, Johann Michael Barth was given the academic surname Bassus III. under the matriculation no. 581 accepted as a member of the Leopoldina .
