Johann Nesenus

Johann Nesenus (* around 1550 in Bergen ; † 1604 in Göttingen ) was a Norwegian composer who worked in Germany.

From him are the madrigals Oh, where does my heart come from and the Lord God spoke .

Johann Nesenus and Caspar Ecchienus are the only known Norwegian composers from the 16th century.
