Johann Nicolaus Olenschlager (1751-1820)

Johann Nicolaus Olenschlager (since 1788 Olenschlager von Olenstein ) (born February 18, 1751 in Frankfurt am Main ; † 1820 there ) was a Frankfurt Senator.

Olenschlager was the son of the 1747 ennobled Johann Daniel Olenschlager . His brother was also called Johann Nicolaus (1713–1763). He was a Frankfurt money changer and was ennobled as early as 1742.

In 1771, due to his maternal descent from the Orth Frauenstein family, he was accepted into the Zum Frauenstein aristocratic society. On January 11, 1788, the imperial award "von Olenstein" took place.

In 1781 he was elected to the Senate of the imperial city of Frankfurt and rose to Schöff in 1783. In the Free City of Frankfurt , too , he remained a member of the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt and was a member of the legislative body in 1817 .
