Johann Parler the Younger
Johann Parler (Czech Jan Parléř ; * probably 1359 in Prague ; † 1405 or 1406), also called Johann Parler the Younger , was an important architect from the German Parler family .
He is the son of the cathedral builder Peter Parler . After the death of his father, he directed work on St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague for several years . One of his most famous works is the Cathedral of St. Barbara in Kutná Hora , of which he was the first architect (the cathedral is now on the UNESCO World Heritage List ); in Kutná Hora he also built the Wels chapel .
