Johann Pettenauer

Johann Pettenauer (born January 15, 1902 in Gobelsburg , † July 27, 1985 in Klosterneuburg ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and machinist. From 1951 to 1964 Pettenauer was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Pettenauer attended elementary school and then completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter. He was also employed as a technical draftsman and from 1930 worked as a chauffeur and industrial worker. Between 1939 and 1945 Pettenauer served in World War II, after which he joined the Vienna community in 1946. Pettenauer was deputy district chairman in the 26th district of Vienna and, after the reorganization of Klosterneuburg, held the office of deputy mayor there from 1954 to 1970. Between February 27, 1951 and November 19, 1964 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament.
