Johann Philipp Heyl

Johann Philipp Heyl (born September 9, 1770 in Weyer ; † October 13, 1853 ibid) was a German mayor and politician .

Heyl was the son of the mayor Johann Philipp Heyl (1739-1808) and his wife Anna Katharina nee Fink (1746-1795). He was a Protestant and married Elisabethe, née Becker († March 14, 1815 in Weyer). He was the mayor of his hometown.

From 1848 to 1851 he was a member of the Estates Assembly of the Duchy of Nassau , where he belonged to the conservative Club of the Right. He was elected in constituency IV (Weilburg / Runkel).

His descendants still live in Weyer today.
