Johann Probst (politician)

Johann Probst (born March 7, 1883 in Hornstein ; † April 23, 1957 ibid) was an Austrian textile worker and politician ( CS ). Probst was married and a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Johann Probst was born as the son of Lorenz Probst from Hornstein and grew up in a Burgenland-Croatian family. He attended elementary school and subsequently worked as a textile worker in Hornstein. Probst was involved in the union and was a board member of the Christian trade unions from 1931 to 1934. In addition, Probst was a member of the Burgenland Administrative Commission / Chamber of Labor from 1935 to 1938 and Mayor of Hornstein between 1936 and 1938. Probst was sworn in as a member of the Burgenland Landtag on December 5, 1930 and represented the Christian Social Party in the Landtag until October 31, 1934.
